TECHNOLOGY
SHOULD SERVE
HUMANITY.
NOT REPLACE IT.

AI and automation can be powerful tools. But power without boundaries can quietly rewrite work, freedom, accountability, privacy, creativity and human purpose. We believe people—not systems—must remain in control.

STAND WITH US
01 — WHY THIS MATTERS

Efficiency cannot be the only measure of a future worth building.

OUR WORK

Automation threatens more than jobs. It threatens dignity and meaningful work.

OUR JUDGMENT

When decisions are outsourced, we lose critical thinking and moral responsibility.

OUR RELATIONSHIPS

Technology that replaces human connection weakens the fabric of society.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Without accountability by design, harm is inevitable and hard to reverse.

OUR PURPOSE

We risk a future of convenience without meaning if we stop choosing for ourselves.

02 — OUR MISSION

Build the guardrails before
we need the emergency brake.

Human Override is an advocacy movement for practical rules that preserve human authority in an increasingly automated world. We want technologists, workers, parents, policymakers, creators, business owners and everyday people at the same table.

We are not asking society to abandon innovation. We are asking society to decide—deliberately—where automation belongs, where it does not, and what protections must exist before deployment.

READ OUR PRINCIPLES
03 — OUR PRINCIPLES

Lines worth drawing.

01

HUMAN AUTHORITY

People make the calls on what matters.

02

ACCOUNTABILITY FIRST

Always know who’s responsible.

03

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

Opt-in. Transparent. Never assumed.

04

HUMAN DIGNITY

Technology should uplift, not replace.

05

PURPOSE OVER PROFIT

People and planet over prediction.

06

FREEDOM OF CHOICE

Options must exist. Always.

04 — WHERE WE DRAW THE LINE

Some decisions are too important to surrender.

PRIVACY

Surveillance creep

Mass monitoring without consent threatens a free society.

JOB REPLACEMENT
WITHOUT PLAN

Automation should augment people—not discard them.
